Billerica’s Kyle Murphy is the MVC Division 2 Player of the Year in baseball

Billerica High senior pitcher and outfielder Kyle Murphy has been voted the Merrimack Valley Conference’s Division 2 Player of the Year in baseball.
Murphy, who is headed to Northeastern University, keeps this MVC honor in the Murphy family. His brother Chris, now at the University of Maine, shared MVC Division 2 Player of the Year honors last season.
Central Catholic senior shortstop Cam Devanney was for the second time voted the MVC Division 1 Player of the Year by the league coaches. Devanney also won the honor as a sophomore in 2013.
Central Catholic’s Marc Pelletier was voted the MVC Division 1 Coach of the Year.
North Andover coach Todd Dulin received the honor in Division 2.
Tewksbury won the Sonny Robbins Sportsmanship Award.
